The Power of Choice in Positive Parenting is a Workshop for parents to encourage Choice as a way of life. Christina Peverill, a former nanny and preschool teacher and a single mother of two under age 4, shares her Positive Parenting techniques. Participating parents will leave with valuable examples of positive phrasing (“Make a good choice), positive punishment (What is the lesson?) and The 5 year rule (Does this matter in 5 years?). This workshop will motivate parents to create an environment of approval and appreciation, offer choices that “mirror” adult choices and consciously choose to support their child’s decisions. Christina reminds us that “Consistency is King in Parenting”. This workshop is brimming with practical and easy steps to improve our parenting immediately!

All topics can be tailored to your organization’s meeting. All topics can be editing for as little as a 20 minutes speech, a 45 minute presentation, or a 2+ hour workshop. Fees will be determined by length of presentation, time and travel requirements, and size of audience. Discounts are available for Non-Profit organizations.
